On February 28 and March 04 public discussion, devoted to Dnipro Street renaming in honor of Yan Khodorovskyi – Righteous among the Nations, who rescued 26 people during the Holocaust was held in Dnipro. The hearings were held at the Shevchenko and Central district city councils.

On February 12, the round table “Expansion of the historical pantheon and its boundary in the national idea context”, organized by the Center for the Studies of Political Values together with “Revival” International foundation supported by the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies, was held in Dnipro. Historians, political experts, journalists and Kyiv and Dnipro writers became the participants of debate.

On February 11, the round table: “The Holodomor, the Holocaust: lessons of history”, organized on the initiative of All-Ukrainian monthly “Borysten” (the chief editor – Fidel Sukhonis) within in the framework of “Tkuma” Institute and Yad Vashem common project “Holocaust studies in Ukraine for the formation the atmosphere of tolerance”, was held in “Tkuma” Institute. Historians, journalists, representatives of Dnipro national communities became the participants of the event.

On February 3, 2019 Yurii Gorulev Belarusian film-maker who created dozens of documentary films visited Museum «Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine» and «Tkuma” Institute.
In 2015, the world saw documentary film «Trostianets», dedicated to the tragedy of concentration camp prisoners in the outskirts of Minsk.

Radek Matula, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Czech Republic visited Museum «Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine» on January, 30. In November last year, when we opened the exhibition «For our and your freedom of 1968-2018» together with Czech partners, devoted to the 50th anniversary of dissident speeches in defense of the Prague Spring, Mr. Ambassador expressed his hope to visit the Holocaust Museum with a longer visit – and today he had such an opportunity. Dr. Denys Shatalov, head of scientific department held a guided tour, and told the guests about the history and concept of the Museum and its main exhibitions.
