PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

The practical part of the School of Young Guides HistoryLabs continues! Today, the participants of the educational project went on a tour of the Jewish Dnipro together with the famous local historian, author of many books on the history of our city Valentyn Starostin.

The experience of history shows that it is impossible to leave neighbors in trouble - because then their problems become common problems. We reiterate the importance of Germany's intensive dialogue with Ukraine and other eastern neighbors on a common past.

On June 22, 1941, Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union. A new, bloodiest page of World War II began. From that moment on, the fate of the world depended primarily on what was happening on the Eastern Front. The Soviet Union was able to win at the cost of enormous efforts and human losses of all the peoples who inhabited it.

The practical part of the School of Young Guides HistoryLabs continues successfully! On June 13, our participants, together with Valentyn Rybalka, researcher at Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, went for a walk in Jewish Katerynoslav.

The theoretical part of the School of the Young Guides HistoryLabs - a joint project of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine" and “Tkuma” Institute, which is implemented with the support of Limmud FSU Labs - is completed! On June 6, we were happy to welcome our participants at “Tkuma” Institute and Museum.

On May 26, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” signed a cooperation agreement with one of the leading universities in Ukraine and our city, the University of Customs and Finance. Currently, more than 5,000 students from all regions of our country study at this university.
