Dear friends! We invite you to participate in the ceremony to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust, which will take place on January 29 at Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. Beginning – at 13:00.

Dear colleagues, we are pleased to announce that Volunteer Anastasia Verkhovetska joined the team of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. Anastasia is a second year student at the National University of Ostroh Academy, an employee of its History Museum. During the internship Anastasia will get acquainted with the main directions of work of our Museum, the structure of its funds, and the peculiarities of the activities related to preservation and restoration of museum exhibits.

On December 04, 2017 the 4th meeting “Authentic places of remembrance of the Holocaust and of places of resistance between 1933 and 1945 with an educational and pedagogical dimension” of the Council of Europe working group took place in Strasbourg, organized by the Steering Committee for Educational Policy and Practice (CDPPE). Dr. Igor Shchupak, director of “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum, was invited to participate in the event.

On November 21, 2017, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” welcomed commemorative evening to Borys Khazan, timed to the 100th anniversary of his birth.

On November 14, 2017, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” was visited by Juris Poikāns, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine. Together with respected delegation, Mr. Ambassador inspected the Museum’s exhibition and expressed his hope to return with a longer visit. The guided tour was conducted by Dr. Iegor Vradii, Head of Museum and Research Department.
