PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On September 06, working session of the Ukrainian-German Historical Commission was held at “Tkuma” Institute. Professors Martin Schulze Wessel (co-chair of the Commission), Guido Hausmann (both – Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich), Prof. 19. Jutta Scherrer (Higher School of Social Sciences, Paris), Dr. Kai Struve (Institute of History of Martin Luther University, Berlin), Prof. Yaroslav Hrytsak (co-chair of the Commission, Ukrainian Catholic University), Prof. Yuri Shapoval (The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine), Prof. Oleksandr Lysenko (Institute of History of Ukraine, The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine), Dr. Ricarda Vulpius (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich)), Prof. Polina Barvinska (Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University), Prof. Frank Sysin (University of Alberta, Canada), Dr. Igor Shchupak participated in the Commission’s work.

One of the many questions of the meeting of the Ukrainian-German Historical Commission was devoted to the preparation of the next conference, which will be held in the autumn of 2020 in Berlin. Interesting historical, legal, and political questions at the intersection of the sciences will be discussed during the Conference.

Many other important questions were also discussed:

- publications of the Commission’s participants and members of the Conference scientific works;

- on the Commission's Internet portal work;

- on the program to support young scholars who are working with German-Ukrainian history;

- on “Political echo” of the historians work in several countries in connection with the work of the Commission;

- on the determining priority areas of scientific work, establishing contacts with scientists, scientific and public organizations, etc.
