PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On October 28, 2018 within the framework of Zaporizhzhya Book Toloka “Tkuma” Institute presented its new editions, dedicated to the history of the Second World War and the Holocaust in Ukraine and Europe. The interactive lecture-conversation “History of the Holocaust and World War II: how literature and museum exhibits overcome the anonymity of numbers” was conducted by Dr. Igor Shchupak and the head of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” Research Department, Dr. Yehor Vradii.


Among the latest publications that were presented, there were – Yu. Slavik, “The path to Auschwitz: The Holocaust in Transcarpathia”; Oleksii Honcharenko “Holocaust on the Territory of the Reichskommissariat “Ukraine” in the national historiographical discourse (1941 – 2016); O. Kruglov, I. Shchupak, A. Umansky “Holocaust in Ukraine” Volume #2; S. Bruchfeld, P. Levine “Tell Ye Your Children” (Ukrainian translation)

During the book fest, all those interested also had an opportunity to learn more about “Tkuma” Institute publishing and educational activities.
