On September 16, 2017 within the framework of the 24th Lviv Book Forum “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies presented several editions, dedicated to the history of World War II and the Holocaust in Ukraine and Europe. Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Director, Dr. Iegor Vradii, Head of Museum Research Department, Anna Medvedovska, executive editor of “Tkuma” Institute Scholarly Journal participated in the event, moderated by Ukrainian journalist, public activist, historian and translator Andrii Pavlyshyn and Dr. Igor Shchupak.

“Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies has a long experience of publishing scholarly, methodological and educational literature devoted to various aspects of the Holocaust, World War II history and the problems of tolerance (collections of documents and photographs that highlight the peculiarities of the Nazi “new order” in the occupied Ukrainian cities, scholarly monographs, etc.) Ukrainian version of the novel “Apte” by Piotr Głuchowski and Marcin Kowalski is one of the newest editions. The book is dedicated to the tragic fate of a talented young man who died during the Holocaust. In addition, “Tkuma” Institute staff presented monograph “Holocaust in Ukraine” by O. Kruglov, A. Umansky and I. Shchupak, showing the modern scholarly picture of the history of “the final solution of Jewish question in Ukraine”, as well as reference book “Righteous Among the Nations”, containing information about all the inhabitants of Ukraine – the rescuers of Jews.
