On June 25-29, 2018 Chornomorsk (Odesa region) hosted ХХ Meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Committee of Experts on the Improvement of School Textbooks on History and Geography.

On June 15, 2018 “Tkuma” Institute hosted lecture of famous Israeli guide, writer and journalist Igor Torick (Jerusalem), dedicated to the stories and mysteries of Biblical Archeology.

During this International book forum (May 30 – June 3, 2018) “Tkuma” Institute research associates took part in organization and conduction of various important public events.

On May 22, 2018, Museum of Ukrainian Painting (Dnipro) donated graphic works of masters - members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine - to the Holocaust Museum, among them gravure by G.P. Polevoi "Remember the crimes of fascism" (1961) from the series "Against the madness of the war" and work by F.М. Klimenko "Buchenwald" (1984) from the series "Nabat of the century". The paintings will find their place in the collections of our Museum.

On May 16, 2018 Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” Library received a valuable gift from the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in the Dnipro - complete collection of works by an outstanding Lithuanian writer, winner of numerous literary awards Grigory Kanovich. Kanovich writes about the fate of the Jewish people, about his relationship with Lithuanian and Russian cultures. His works are translated into twelve languages (English, German, Hebrew, Polish, Hungarian and others) and are published in circulation of more than a million copies.
