On October 09, 2017, Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine" was visited by famous Israely "7th channel", broadcasting for more than 15 million people from many countries of the world. Video tour through the Holocaust Museum and interviews with the chief rabbi of the Dnipro city and region Shmuel Kaminezki and the director of "Tkuma" Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and the Holocaust Museum Dr. Igor Shchupak, were recorded.
Participants talked about the co-existence of Jews and Ukrainians, about the complex pages of history. They recalled, in particular, the historical parallels between the defense of the Fatherland during the Second World War and the defense of independent Ukraine today, as well as the historical parallels between the confrontation of the young Jewish state with aggression by the Arab states in 1948-49 and the modern struggle of Ukraine against aggression.
