PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

In September 1, 2017 “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” welcomed famous public figure and Executive Director of League of Ukrainian Canadians Orest Steciw. He had just returned from the Eastern Ukraine, where he provided humanitarian help to Ukrainian fighters. In Dnipro he met Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum director. They talked about events on the front line, and about history as a field for “hybrid war” against Ukraine.

Dr. Igor Shchupak emphasized the importance of cooperation between Ukrainian and Jewish non-governmental organizations in Ukraine and Canada, dialogue on complex pages of the history of the Holocaust and the Holodomor, the Second World War and other events of the past. Mr. O. Steciw with great interest got acquainted with the literature published by “Tkuma” Institute and reviewed the Holocaust Museum exhibition that greatly impressed him.
