PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On April 21, 2017 Oles Honchar Dnipro National University Students’ Palace welcomed 10 Regional Historical Conference “The History of Dnipro Rapids”, organized by the university in cooperation with partnering educational institutions of our city.

Dr. Iegor Vradii, “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies Research Programs Coordinator, took part in the event. He delivered a speech devoted to the scholarly understanding and studying the Holocaust in Dnipropetrovsk (1941–1943). The main attention he paid to the analysis of historiography and source research on this topic.

The work of conference was held in several sections: “The history of towns and villages located near the Dnipro rapids”, “Social and political life of the region”, “Spiritual life, culture, education and science of the region”, “Social and economic progress of the region”.
