On February 24, 2016 Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies welcomed the group of Russian journalists within the framework of “See Ukraine with You own Eyes” Project. Through this project, public figures, journalists, bloggers from the Russian Federation have the opportunity to look at the modern Ukraine not through TV screens but directly visiting it. The meeting, attended by activists from Vologda, Kirov, Moscow, Samara, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities became the sixth one in the project.

On February 21, 2016 Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” hosted opening of the exhibition “Ukrainian World War II” created by joint efforts of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance and the Liberation Movement Research Center.

On February 17, 2016 Ambassador Andreas Peschke, Federal Foreign Office Director for Eastern Europe, visited Dnipropetrovsk Jewish Community. He was accompanied by Wolfgang Moessinger, Consul General for Germany in Ukraine, and Daniel Schemske, Desk officer for economic relations.

On February 16, 2016 Marius Yanukonis, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Ukraine visited “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. He was accompanied by a representative delegation headed by Vitaly Pivnyak, Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Dnipropetrovsk, and Prof.Vytautas Magnus. Dr.Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Director, conducted the guided tour for the special guests as well as negotiated regarding the possibilities of cooperation.
