PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On March 21, 2016 the regular pedagogical seminar for History teachers of Dnipropetrovsk region was organized and conducted by “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” in close cooperation with Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Advanced Teachers Training.

Seminar participants jointed the guided tour through the Holocaust Museum exhibition conducted be Dilfuza Hlushchenko, Head of Museum and Research Department. Teachers participated in the meeting with Boris Maftsir, Israeli director, the author of more than 400 documentaries and TV programs.

Within the framework of seminar Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum director, conducted special session during which he presented his new textbook of the history of Middle Ages and told teachers about new approaches in the Holocaust history teaching.
