PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On March 20, at Liubov Legasova, deputy director general for scientific work of National Museum of the history of Ukraine in the Second World War (Kyiv) invitation, Dr. Igor Shchupak held a seminar for history teachers. The Holocaust and other tragedies studying features of the past, positivism in history, and new textbooks – for 6 forms (written together with Iryna Piskariova and Olena Burlaka) and for 11th forms were discussed.

«Great atmosphere, great interest of teachers, fruitful discussion... Obviously, we should meet with colleagues not only on the pages of books and articles. I was especially glad to see my friends, colleagues-teachers Ella Sytnik and Zhanna Havryliuk, colleagues - musicologists Liudmyla Rybchenko and Dmytro Hainnetdinova», - Dr. Igor Shchupak noted.

At the end of the educational event, Dr. Igor Shchupak gave for temporary storage a several exhibits to Kyiv museum exhibition from the Museum «Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine».
