On March 16, 2017 “Tkuma” Institute in cooperation with Regional Institute of Advanced Teacher Training conducted regular seminar for History teachers of the region. The program of the event included guided tour through Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” exhibition conducted by Dr. Denys Shatalov.
Within the framework of the seminar participants met Dr. Igor Shchupak, director of “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum, author of school textbooks on history. Among the issues related to the Holocaust history teaching educators discussed reforms of Ukrainian school education system, integration of World History and History of Ukraine courses, features of teaching the history of Ukrainian-Jewish relations.
