PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On May 31, 2016 “Tkuma” Institute in cooperation with Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Advanced Teacher Training organized and conducted regular seminar of Holocaust history teaching for teachers of Dnipropetrovsk region.

Participants of the seminar visited Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. The guided tour was conducted by Dilfuza Hlushchenko, Head of Research-Museum Department. After the excursion teachers met Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Director, who conducted presentation of the new textbook on the history of Middle Age and discussed with participants new approaches to teaching history.

During the seminar the practical session on the usage of visual sources during the lessons was carried out.
