Ihor Shakhraichuk passed away – an extremely bright, sensitive and kind person. It is difficult to list those whom he selflessly helped, remained faithful in spite of all life circumstances, gave his hand, even when he became seriously ill. He always sought to help, remembering everyone he met; was a scientific "father", companion and friend to many regardless of their age, professional or social status.

August 10 in the walls of the Berdyansk Museum of Local Lore was the presentation of the new book by the director Lyudmila Nozdrina "Repressed generation. Preserving memory". Officials, librarians, teachers, local historians, servicemen were present in the museum.
