PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On December 13, 2015 on the base of “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies winter session for pupils-participants of Dnipropetrovsk department of Junior Academy of Sciences was conducted.

Young researchers were welcomed by Dr Svitlana Kayuk, curator of the department of history of JAS, associate professor of Department of History of Ukraine of O. Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University; Natalya Tahlo, director of the municipal extracurricular educational institution “Junior Academy of Sciences”, Dr Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” director.

The best scientific and teaching staff of Dnipropetrovsk region worked with students: section “History of Ukraine” – Dr Oleh Boyko, associate professor of Department of Eastern European History; section “Local History” – Kateryna Hryshchenko, Master of History, senior researcher at D. Yavornytsky Dnipropetrovsk Historical University; section “World History” – Dr Olha Kakovkina, associate professor of Department of World History; sections “Archeology” and “Ethnology” – Dr Yevhen Feshchenko, associate professor of Department of Historiography, Source and Archival Studies. They conducted informative lectures and practical classes.

Also every listener of winter session had the opportunity get individual consultations for their own research work.
