PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On August 24 – September 02 in Wisła (Poland) International Cultural and Educational Camp for Ukrainian Jewish youth was conducted. the event was organized by "Drzewo Oliwne" Foundation in cooperation with "Tkuma" Institute and the Holocaust Museum.

"Drzewo Oliwne" is Polish evangelical organization. Members of this organization see their task in promoting biblical truths about Israel and the Jewish people, convergence of Jewish religious and cultural heritage to the history of the people in Christian countries; providing accurate information about the current situation in Israel; encouraging Christians to pray for the Jews, providing practical charity and opposing to anti-Semitism. For several years, "Drzewo Oliwne" in partnership with "Tkuma" Institute organizes  summer camps for Jewish youth from Ukraine in Poland. During their stay young Ukrainians get acquainted with the customs and traditions of Polish Jews.

This year the educational part of the camp was implemented be Svitlana Kayuk, Miriam Klimova, Adrianna Malinska, Timothy Rabinek,  Anna Cieslar and others. The seminar also included rich excursion program to Bielsko-Byaly, Krakow and Auschwitz.
