PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On October 23, 2016 historian Dr. Yuriy Mytrofanenko donated flag, which is a historical relic to Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. Yevhen Sushkov from Kropyvnytsky, graduate of the Faculty of History, ATO volunteer, who served in the 5th squadron of the 79th brigade, gave this received this flag from volunteers from Huliaipole (Zaporizhzhya region) and gave it to historian. Flag hung on the wall of Donetsk airport terminal and will be part of our Museum new exhibition dedicated to the Revolution of dignity, ATO and Russian aggression against Ukraine.

On October 21 – 23, 2016 Zaporizhzhya hosted book fair, literary festival, the festival of children’s art and a number of other events, combined within multiformat “Zaporizhzhya Book Toloka”. “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies became the participant and presented its editions on World War II and the Holocaust history.

On October 13, 2016 Dnipro Regional Philharmonic Hall hosted commemorative concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy and organized by the Israeli Cultural Center in Dnipro, “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”.

On October 12, 2016 press-center “Mist-Dnipro” hosted press conference devoted to the ceremonial events on the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy organized in the Dnipro and mass shootings of Jews of Dnipropetrovsk.

On October 5, 2016 “Menorah” Center hosted opening of the International children’s tourist exhibitions organized by Dnipro Children’s Center for International Cooperation partnering with “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”
