During October 14-21, an international school for students and postgraduate students “Remembering Conflicts, Thinking about the Past: Writing History Together” took place in Georgia. The event was organized by Berlin Branch of the “Memorial” International Historical and Educational, Human Rights and Charitable Society, under the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Independent Fund “New Collection”. Maryna Strilchuk, researcher at the Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, postgraduate student of the Historical Faculty of Dnipro National University, was invited to join the event.

On October 16, 2018 within the celebration of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” anniversary, scholarly and practical seminar “Modern Museum: how to be attractive and stay true” for museum professionals, history teachers, scholars and local historians took place. The event was organized by Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, the Holocaust Museum and “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies.

On October 4, 2018 Academician D. Yavornytsky Memorial House-Museum hosted opening of the exhibition “Andrey Sheptytsky: Philanthropist, Businessman, Leader of the Church and Nation”. The exhibition was presented by the directors of the museums, whose funds were used for its creation – Malyts Orest, director of the Lviv Museum of History of Religion, and Father Sevastyan Dmytrukh, director of the Museum of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky. They told about the figure of the Metropolitan, about his importance not only for Lviv and Galicia, but for the whole of Ukraine.
