On December 17, regional staage of the All-Ukrainian Contest “Teacher of the Year – 2020” at the nomination “History” has started in Dnipro. History teachers from Dnipro, Kamianske, Kryvyi Rih, Vil'nohirs'k, Marhanets, Pavlohrad, Synel'nykove and from rural communities of Apostolivs'kyi, Sofiivka, Synel'nykove and Pokrovsk districts presented innovative and creative pedagogical ideas, which they embody in the history lessons and shared the methodology for it’s conducting. Dr. Igor Shchupak is jury chairman of the Contest regional stage.

On December 12, Dr. Igor Shchupak held a lecture-presentation on innovative and teaching methods, for future educators – students of “Bet Hana” International Humanitarian-Pedagogical Institute, as well as for teachers.

On December 10, the next educational seminar for history teachers of Dnipropetrovsk region organized together with Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” was held at “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for |Holocaust Studies.

On November 27–28, All-Ukrainian seminar “New standards, programs, tutorials, and challenges in school history education”, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies was held in Chernihiv.

During November 22–24, seminar “Pearls of Yiddish Culture” for teachers, educators, museum workers from Ukraine was held in Vilnius (Lithuania). The event was organized by International Yiddish Center of World Jewish Congress in partnership with “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies.
