On March 20, at Liubov Legasova, deputy director general for scientific work of National Museum of the history of Ukraine in the Second World War (Kyiv) invitation, Dr. Igor Shchupak held a seminar for history teachers. The Holocaust and other tragedies studying features of the past, positivism in history, and new textbooks – for 6 forms (written together with Iryna Piskariova and Olena Burlaka) and for 11th forms were discussed.

On March 19, another seminar of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and «Tkuma» Institute for history teachers was held in Kharkiv. Educational event was held at Kharkiv academy of continuing education on Valentina Sidorchuk, our regular partner initiative.

On March 14, seminar on methodology of World War II and the Holocaust history teaching for history teachers, organized by «Tkuma» Institute was held in Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad region). Dr. Iegor Vradii, deputy director for scientific work of «Tkuma» Institute held educational event for teachers at Kirovohrad regional institute of postgraduate pedagogical education named after Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi.

On March 18, city and regional seminar for teachers, organized by "Tkuma" Institute was held in Dnipro. More than 200 teachers of history and social sciences disciplines, methodologists became participants of educational events.

During February 17-24, (Israel) seminar for Ukrainian educators, organized by «Tkuma» Institute and Yad Vashem was held in Jerusalem. History teachers and educators, museum staff from different parts of Ukraine became the participants of the project.
During the week, they listened to the lectures by leading Yad Vashem specialists –Dr. Fred Drachinskyi, Dr. Anna Novikov, together with Noah Sigal and Olga Duke, got acquainted with innovative methods of working with students. Ukrainian teachers also had the opportunity to exchange their experience in teaching World War and the Holocaust history in schools and higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
