On March 14, seminar on methodology of World War II and the Holocaust history teaching for history teachers, organized by «Tkuma» Institute was held in Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad region). Dr. Iegor Vradii, deputy director for scientific work of «Tkuma» Institute held educational event for teachers at Kirovohrad regional institute of postgraduate pedagogical education named after Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi.
A number of topical questions were discussed during the seminar: How educational literature devoted to the complex historical experience of the 20th century was created? Why the Holocaust history and other genocides studying provides a unique material for understanding human behavior in extreme trials times (war, occupation, etc.)? Why World War history remains the most relevant historical topic for Ukrainian society? The questions of public dialogue experience study on complex issues of own history in Poland and the prospects of a similar dialogue in Ukraine was paid the particular attention.
