PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On March 15, a “historical webinar” was held by “Tkuma” Institute and “Orion” Publishing House on: “New history of the ancient world: which textbook can be chosen by teachers and students of the 6th grade.”

The speakers of the online event for teachers were:

- Olena Burlaka, history teacher, Deputy Director of the Horodyshche Economic Lyceum of the Horodyshche City Council of the Cherkasy Region, Honored Educator of Ukraine (Cherkasy Region);

- Ntaliia Vlasova, teacher-methodologist, winner of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year 2016” in the category “History”, methodologist of the methodological center at the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipropetrovsk City Council, co-author of new textbooks “History of Ukraine” and “World History” for 8th grade (Dnipro);

- Iryna Piskariova, head of “Tkuma” Institute educational programs, methodist-teacher, author of programs and history textbooks.

Igor Shchupak moderated the webinar.

During the webinar, the participants discussed a number of topical issues related to the methodology of teaching the history of the Ancient World, the use of 3D animations, online tours, and various interactive exercises in history lessons.
