PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On November 28-29, 2017 Lviv welcomed All-Ukrainian Seminar “Features of Teaching History Courses for School Students of 10-11 Grades According to New Curricula in 2018/19 Academic Year”. The educational event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, All-Ukrainian Association “Nova Doba”, Lviv Regional Institute of Advanced Teacher Training together with partners. Dr. Igor Shchupak, director of “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum, was invited to participate in the seminar.

During the seminar, the issue of approbation of the course “History: Ukraine and the World” was discussed, as well as new educational programs on history.

The leaders of the seminar, Raisa Yevtushenko and Petro Kendzior, managed to create a wonderful creative atmosphere; the participants of the seminar conducted a fruitful and constructive discussion – stressed Dr. Igor Shchupak. – A special role was given, of course, to Lvivites headed by methodologist Halyna Ivanusa. Raisa Yevtushenko made a nice announcement for us: The next major pedagogical seminar with the same (and new) participants will take place in Dnipro, at “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum on January 28-30, 2018.”
