On June 19, the first meeting of Dniprovsky Historical Seminar was held at D. Yavornytsky Dnipropetrovsk National Historical Museum – “Tkuma” Institute implemented this new project together with partners – museum, scientific and educational organizations of Dnipro and the region. The aim of the seminar is professional development, professional development of museum staff, historians, archivists through familiarization with new approaches in history methodology and in museum work. The relevance of Dniprovsky Historical Seminar work is primarily in the need to overcome non-scientific and pro-Soviet approaches in the creation of museum exhibitions and organization of excursions, in educational work.

During June 10-14, the 21st regular meeting of the Polish-Ukrainian Committee of Experts on school history and geography textbooks content improving was held in Krakow (Poland). Marek Kornat (Committee co-chairman), extraordinary professor and head of History of diplomacy and totalitarian system department at the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Science, head of History of international relations department at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, habilitated doctor; Michal Sadlowski (Committee secretary); Marek Barwiński, extraordinary professor of University of Lodz, habilitated doctor; Piotr Krol, scholarly secretary of University of Warsaw Institute of History, doctor of history, Grzegorz Motyka, director of the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Science, professor, habilitated doctor; Karol Sanojca, professor of the University of Wroclaw, habilitated doctor, were the representatives of the Polish side.

During June 11-16, Trans-Regional Academy «After Violence. The (Im-) Possibility of Understanding and Remembering” was held at “Tkuma” Institute, about thirty scientists from 14 countries around the world became the participants of the events. Prisma Ukraïna – Research Network Eastern Europe (Forum Transregionale Studien, Berlin), Center for Governance and Culture in Europe/University St. Gallen (St. Gallen), German Historical Institute Warsaw, European University Viadrina (Frankfurt/Oder), “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies, Center for Applied Anthropology (Kyiv) became the organizers of the project.

During June 07-08, "Tkuma" Institute and Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine participated at tourism forum “Dnipro Region Tourism – 2019”, organized in Dnipro on the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration initiative.
