PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On October 19, the annual meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Committee of Experts on Improving the Content of Textbooks on History and Geography was held online. The following scientists-textbooks authors were the event participants: Natalia Beskova, Prof. Ihor Hyrych, Prof. Vladimir Golovko, Prof. Stanyslav Kulchytsky, Secretary of the Commission Raisa Yevtushenko (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine). “Tkuma” Institute was represented by Dr. Yehor Vradii and Dr. Igor Shchupak.

“It was very nice to communicate with our old Polish partners. By the way, Prof. Grzegorz Motyka, Prof. Piotr Kroll, Prof. Karol Sanojca has repeatedly provided me and my colleagues with valuable advice and advice on the sections of our textbooks on the history of Poland and Polish-Ukrainian relations – said Dr. Shchupak. – Today, as always, we analyzed Polish textbooks, and Polish colleagues – Ukrainian, including our textbook for 7th grade (authors I. During the meeting, the participants agreed to hold methodological seminars for Ukrainian and Polish historians on topical issues of history and for joint publications. The next meeting of the commission members is to take place in the summer of 2022 in Warsaw.
