
On March 21, a “historical webinar” was held, organized by “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies together with “Orion” Publishing House. The topic of the meeting was digital technologies in history education: neural networks, chatbots, and artificial intelligence.
The speaker of the event was Natalia Vlasova, director of the Scientific Lyceum of International Relations of the University of Customs and Finance, winner of the National Award Global Teacher Prize Ukraine – 2021 in the nomination “Teacher-innovator”, winner of the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year – 2025”, co-author of history textbooks of the “Orion” Publishing House. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Igor Shchupak.
During the webinar, participants discussed the opportunities and challenges of using artificial intelligence in the educational process. In particular, they considered:
- the potential of neural networks and chatbots in history lessons;
- the use of historical computer games;
- algorithms for creating effective prompts for AI and analyzing its responses;
- the development of critical thinking through interactive tasks involving digital technologies.
