Dear friends,

We are pleased to inform you that the submission of materials for “Holocaust Studies: A Ukrainian Focus” № 16 (2024) continues.

 

“Holocaust Studies: A Ukrainian Focus” – the international refereed scientific yearbook of “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies, published since 2002. The journal is devoted to the problems of the Holocaust and other genocides of the 20th century. Focusing mainly on Ukrainian stories, the publication is designed to introduce them into the broad context of European and world history. The journal is included in the List of scientific and specialized publications of Ukraine, category B (historical specialties – 032).

The editors of the journal invite authors from Ukraine and abroad to cooperate and offer to send materials representing:

• works of a theoretical-methodological or generalizing nature, devoted to the Holocaust;

• comparative studies of the Holocaust in Ukraine and other regions of the former USSR, Eastern and Western Europe; comparative analysis of specific historical and civilizational aspects of the Holocaust and other genocides;

• factual studies of various aspects of the Holocaust on Ukrainian lands;

• regional and local history studies of the Holocaust on the territory of occupied Ukraine;

• studies dedicated to clarifying the place and role of the Jewish factor in the cultural and historical processes in Europe that preceded the Holocaust or took place after it;

• historiographical and source studies;

• historiographical and source studies;

• studies of politics of memory and public reception of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
