On March 28, a webinar was held for history teachers and methodologists of the Zaporizhzhia region, organized by “Tkuma” Institute and the Zaporizhzhia Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education.
Dr. Igor Shchupak introduced the participants to the updated programs and textbooks with stories and the changes that are taking place in the field of textbook creation in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war. “The true history of Ukraine and the world, which is presented in textbooks in a way that is convenient for teachers, interesting and accessible for students, is our very important weapon,” the scientist emphasized.

On March 8, another “historical webinar” was held, organized by “Tkuma” Institute and “Orion” Publishing House. The educational event “History education in the digital age: a view from Brussels” was conducted by Dr. Igor Shchupak.
During the webinar, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the modern European experience of teaching history in the digital age and take part in the discussion of a number of topical issues:

On February 21-22, “Tkuma” Institute held regular regional “historical webinars” for teachers of the Sumy and Rivne regions. During online educational events, participants talked about the challenges facing Ukrainian historical education. They discussed the content of the new History Curricula adopted in 2022; ideas of the new Concept of historical education.

On January 26-28, an All-Ukrainian scientific and practical seminar dedicated to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day was held in Uzhhorod, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies. The participants of the educational event were history teachers and scientists from all over Ukraine.
