On January 24, as part of the series of “historical webinars” of “Tkuma” Institute and “Orion” Publishing House, an online event “Medieval Russia – a European state: how to overcome Russian ideological narratives” was held. The moderator was Dr. Igor Shchupak.
Educators and scientists from different parts of Ukraine were invited to participate in the webinar as speakers:
- Ihor Hyrych, doctor of historical sciences, head of the department of the M. Hrushevsky Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies of the National Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Ukrainian Free Academy of Sciences (USA), active member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society (Kyiv);
- Iryna Vasylkiv, senior lecturer of the Department of Social Science Education of the Lviv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, author of history textbooks (Lviv);
- Oleksandr Zheliba, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of the Department of World History and International Relations of the Nizhyn State University named after M. Gogol, Methodist teacher, history teacher of the Nizhyn Lyceum of the Nizhyn City Council at the NSU named after M. Gogol (Nizhyn);
- Dmytro Sekyrynskyi, methodist teacher, history teacher of the Zaporizhzhia academic lyceum “Perspektiva”, volunteer of the Zaporizhzhia Terodefense, author of history programs and textbooks (Zaporizhzhia).
