On May 26, the last educational webinar of this school year ‘How to win a creative contest?” was held. The event was organized by “Tkuma” Institute, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, “Orion” Publishing House.

The speakers of the webinar were a history teacher of the highest category, a teacher-methodologist of secondary schools of I-III grades. № 6 Tetiana Lanevska (Kupyansk, Kharkiv region); Iryna Matkovska (Vinnytsia), Deputy Director of the Public Institution “General School of I-III Grades № 18 of Vinnytsia City Council”; teacher of history of the educational complex "Gymnasium № 7" Valentina Obodovska (Odessa); Iryna Piskariova, Head of Educational Programs of “Tkuma” Institute (Dnipro); Honored Educator of Ukraine, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Director of “Tkuma” Institute, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” Igor Shchupak.

Among the issues discussed during the event were the following:

- What does it take to become the winner of an international contest?

- How to prepare a creative “winning work”?

- How to motivate students to participate in the contests?

- How to stop being afraid of the jury and public defenses?
