Among the research topics chosen by young scholars there are – “Germany Agricultural policy in general district “Dnipropetrovsk” of Reichskommissariat Ukraine in 1941-1944” (by Kateryna Korotia); “British military men correspondence as a source for history of everyday life during WWI” (by Volodymyr Bobkunov); “Nazi Propaganda in occupational media of Reichskommissariat “Ostland” and Reichskommissariat “Ukraine” (by Daryna Cherednyk); “Ukrainian Nationalism and “Jewish question” during the Holocaust” (by Sofia Deberyna); “Children’s rights in ghetto: historical aspect” (by Oleksandra Savchenko), and many others.

“Of course the papers aren’t perfect (event the works of more experiences researchers have some gaps)”, noted Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Director. “But the main thing is that youth has desire for independent research and learning historical roots of many contemporary problems. Teachers of school students, their parents, and, of course, enthusiastic organizers Dr. Svitlana Kaiuk (DNU), Dr. Natalia Tiahlo (JAS), Prof. Serhii Svitlenko (DNU) made great contributions into creation of these papers.”
