PRESENTATION OF “TKUMA” INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS  IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE

On October 18, 2015 Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” celebrated its birthday. More than 300 people came to the Museum to congratulate it. This day special expanded program of guided tours and pleasant surprises waited for the guests. In particular, during the day everybody could visit the museum free of charge and get into the “secret” fourth hall representing the collection of old clocks from the collection of I. Kolomoisky. After the guided tours, all guests had an opportunity to leave their impressions of exhibitions and write birthday greetings to the Museum.

On October 15, 2015 in Kyiv the program “Seminarium” was launched. It is a series of discussions on various aspects of the Holodomor studies in Ukraine. The program was initiated by Holodomor Research and Education Consortium (Canada), Holodomor Ukrainian Research Center led by Dr Lyudmyla Hrynevych, and Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

On October 16, 2015 Zaporizhzhya hosted International Festival “Zaporizhzhya Book Toloka” that gathered almost 40 publishing houses from different regions of Ukraine.

On October 13, 2015 in Dnipropetrovsk the NGO "New Vision" organized meeting of Mr. Kees Klompenhouwer, the Ambassador of the Netherlands, with Dnipropetrovsk youth. "Tkuma" Institute and the Holocaust Museum were also invited to participate in the event. 

On October 14, 2015 Harry Triguboff, Australian businessman and philanthropist, Commander of the Order of Australia, visited Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”. He is known for his large-scale projects aimed at returning Russian Jews to their roots.
