Klymentiy Sheptytsky as archimandrite of the Holy Assumption Univ Lavra, he was a constant assistant and advisor to his older brother – Andrey Sheptytsky, metropolitan of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Thanks to Sheptytsky brothers an unique system of the Galicia Jews rescue during the Nazi genocide was organized. Thanks to their efforts, the lives of more than 200 people have been rescued.

On November 12, the meeting of “Community Development Forum” for leaders of Jewish organizations aimed at information sharing and activities coordination was held at “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies.

On November 11, Alexander Vinnikov, head of NATO Delegation to Ukraine, director of NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine visited Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and “Tkuma” Institute.

On October 28, opening of the museum-room “Myrhorod: Museum of the Holocaust” was held in secondary school № 5 in Myrhorod (Poltava region). This event was timed to the anniversary of the Myrhorod Jews execution by the Nazis and the Nazis' expulsion from Ukraine. Valentyn Rybalka, “Tkuma” Institute researcher was invited to the opening of new museum institution.

During October 31– November 03, International Conference “Limmud Ukraine” held in Odesa. Dr. Igor Shchupak was one of the presenters, who read several lectures on history for the conference participants – guests from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, USA.
