"Tkuma" Institute implements public cultural and educational projects, including "The Sunday Club", "Dniprovsky Historical Club" and other activities.


 

On September 18, 2016 “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum organized and conducted the Sunday Club session dedicated to forming and preserving the memory Babyn Yar tragedy. The session was conducted by Anna Medvedovska, “Tkuma” Institute Research Associate.

On August 28, 2016 the regular session of Dniprovsky Historical Club was conducted. The session was conducted by Dr. I.Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Director, and Dr. Iegor Vradiy, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Head of Research Department, and was dedicated to such important issues as de-communization in Ukraine and the historical memory of World War II and the Holocaust.

On April 14, 2016 Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” and “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies welcomed “Hesed Besht” Khmelnytsky Charitable Fund staff led by its Director Igor Ratushny.

On March 20, 2016 “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies hosted session of the Sunday Club with Boris Maftsir (Israel) –author of documentaries about the Holocaust in the USSR project, producer of about 400 documentaries and television programs.

On February 21, 2016 the regular session of Dniprovsky Historical Club dedicated to the“Deportation as methods of genocide during World War II” was conducted. The session was held by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance employees: Dr. Serhiy Hromenko and Dr. Vasyl Pavlov.
