On November 29, 2020, as part of the meeting of the Movie Club of Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine”, a meeting was held with Tatiana Kondrashevskaya – director, screenwriter of the feature film “Red Necklace”. The plot of the film is based on the real history of a Ukrainian rural family from Zaporizhzhia during the Holodomor of 1932-1933.

It was established in 1995 at the initiative of the UNITED International Network Against Racism, which brings together more than 500 organizations from 49 countries and operates independently of political parties and governments.

On September 29, Ukraine marks the Day of Remembrance of Babyn Yar victims. On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of Babyn Yar tragedy the Final of XVII Creative Works Contest “Lessons of War and Holocaust – Lessons of Tolerance” has started. It was organized by “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
