Review

Multimedia e-book “Xenophobia and Tolerance. Lessons of the Holocaust and Humanism” created based on the unique testimonies of Holocaust survivor. Dramatic turns of human lives personify and “humanize” the history of countries and peoples. The stories of the complex dilemmas of moral choice in critical situations, examples of xenophobia and anti-Semitism, which are combined with striking manifestations of the best human qualities, provide a basis for reflection on issues of tolerance and humanism.

E-book consists of 4 parts:

1. Xenophobia and Tolerance.

2. Lessons of Holocaust – Lessons of Tolerance.

3. Rescue.

4. Humanity.

The manual is designed for secondary school teachers and pupils; it will also be interesting for students of social sciences as well as all those interested in history, psychology and ethics issues.
