On January 28, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” received an unique exhibit. This is a cast-iron tablet with the inscription “Yevreiska street”. Yurii Nikitenko our neighbor, whose office is located near Menorah center, on Sholom-Aleichem street gave it us. It’s very symbolically because exactly this street was called “Yevreiska”; and currently, Menorah center, the Holocaust Museum and “Tkuma” Institute are situated there.

We sincerely thank to Mr. Yurii for his present! After necessary preparation, this exhibit will occupy a decent place in our Museum’s exhibition, in the same hall, where you can find the wonderful collection of bricks, which the houses of our city were built from, donated by the collector Pavlo Mamenko to the Holocaust Museum.
