April 20-22, 2018 book festival “Maestro” was held on the basis of the Cherkasy Regional Philharmonic. Within the framework of the event Valentyn Rybalka, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum Research Associate, conducted presentation “The Holocaust and Other Genocides of the Twentieth Century in the publications of “Tkuma” Institute”. 

 During the presentation, participants learned about the scholarly, educational, methodological and publishing activities of “Tkuma” Institute. Among the newest editions presented: book of the young Uzhgorod scholar Yu. Slavik “The path to Auschwitz: the Holocaust in Transcarpathia”, monograph of the famous scholar O. Honcharenko “Holocaust on the Territory of the Reichskommissariat “Ukraine” in the national historiographical discourse (1941 – 2016)”, Ukrainian translation of “Apte. Niedokończona powieść” (“Apte. Unfinished Story”) by Piotr Głuchowski, Marcin Kowalski, 2 volumes of collective monograph by historians O. Kruglov, I. Shchupak, A. Umansky “Holocaust in Ukraine”, “World History” textbook for the 9^th grade students by I. Shchupak and others.

On April 20, 2018 “Tkuma” Institute staff also conducted commemorative lessons and mobile exhibition presentations for 10th grade students of Cherkasy gymnasium №31.
