On October 29, 2017, within the framework of Zaporizhzhia Book Toloka “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies presented new editions, dedicated to the Holocaust and World War II history in Ukraine and Europe. These were – collection of documents and photographs that tell about the features of the Nazi “new order” in the occupied Ukrainian cities; scholarly monographs and collections of memoirs, educational publications and manuals on the history of “the final solution of the Jewish question” in Ukraine and the Second World War. Editions were presented by Dr. Iegor Vradii, Head of Research Department of “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum – author of Ukrainian translation of the book “Apte. Niedokończona powieść” by Piotr Głuchowski and Marcin Kowalski.

Among the latest editions, the presentation focused on Ukrainian translation of the book Apte. Niedokończona powieść”, devoted to the tragic fate of a talented young man who died during the Holocaust; monograph by historians O. Kruglov, А. Umanskyi and І. Shchupak “Holocaust in Ukraine”, where the modern scholarly picture of the history of “final solution of the Jewish question in Ukraine” is shown; reference book “Righteous Among the Nations”, where information about all the inhabitants of Ukraine – the rescuers of the Jews is gathered, and others.

During the event, all interested persons also had an opportunity to be acquainted more closely with the publishing and educational activities of “Tkuma” Institute.
