Projects for Teachers

On October 08, the next educational seminar for history teachers of Dnipropetrovsk region organized in cooperation with Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education, Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” was held at “Tkuma” Institute.

A rich program awaited teachers:

- guided tour at the Holocaust Museum, held by researcher Dr. Olena Ishchenko;

- acquaintance with the educational and scientific activities of “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum, development opportunities for teachers and students;

- conversation with Dr. Igor Shchupak and discussion on the problems of modern secondary education in Ukraine, methods of encouraging students to study history, etc.

The presentation of history textbooks for students of 6th and 11th forms by Iryna Piskarova and Dr. Igor Shchupak was held within the frameworks of the event.
