On January 13, a historical webinar for teachers was held. It was organized by “Tkuma” Institute and “Orion” Publishing House. The topic of the educational event is “Challenges of distance learning: how to overcome the distance between teacher and student”.

Speakers were Natalia Vlasova, teacher-methodologist, winner of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year 2016” in the category “History”, methodologist of the methodological center at the Department of Humanitarian Policy of the Dnipropetrovsk City Council, co-author of new textbooks “History of Ukraine” and “World History” for 8th grade (Dnipro); Volodymyr Kronhaus, history teacher at the Kharkiv Specialized School of II-III Grades №3 in Kharkiv, author and host of radio show “Cool or School”, co-author of the new textbooks “History of Ukraine” and “World History” for 8th grade (Kharkiv); Dmytro Sekyrynsky, teacher-methodologist, history teacher at Lyceum “Prestige”, co-author of new textbooks “History of Ukraine” and “World History” for 8th grade (Zaporizhzhia); Dr. Igor Shchupak.

Among the issues discussed during the webinar were the following:

- Responsibility for effective distance learning in the “triangular correlation” students-parents-teachers;

- History textbook as a technology: what to consider at a distance;

- (NOT) critically prepare practical (how to organize practical work on history in distance learning);

- “Remember everything”: generalization and thematic evaluation “in quarantine”;

- Work in the social service Wizer.me and others.
