Projects for Teachers

On April 03, historical webinar “Ukrainian vision of the national and world history”, organized by “Orion” Ukrainian educational publishing center (Kyiv) and “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies (Dnipro) was held.

Ihor Hyrych, Ph. D., corresponding member of the Ukrainian free academy of sciences (USA), academician of the Academy of Sciences of the higher school of Ukraine (Kyiv); Oleksandr Zheliba, candidate of pedagogical sciences, teacher-methodologist, associate professor of political science, law and philosophy department of the Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University, history teacher of Nizhyn lyceum of Nizhyn city Council at Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University (Nizhyn; Dr. Igor Shchupak became the speakers of the webinar.

The participants emphasized that national history is part of world history and therefore the history of Ukraine and world history should be seen and understood as a single process. During the webinar Igor Shchupak demonstrated fragments of new world history textbooks, noting how can be shown that the history of Ukraine is an integral history of Europe through text and illustrations.
