Projects for Teachers

On September 12, 2017 “Tkuma” Institute and Museum “Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine” hosted pedagogical seminar, organized by Iryna Piskariova, Educational Program Coordinator. More than thirty teachers of the history from Kremenchuk have become the participants of the seminar. Dr. Denys Shatalov conducted guided tour for the guests, focusing on the educational capabilities of the Holocaust Museum.

After the tour, the teachers met with Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum director and discussed the problems of reforming school education in Ukraine. Dr. Shchupak presented author’s textbooks on world history and spoke about new methods and approaches to teaching Holocaust history.
