Projects for Teachers

On July 27–30, 2017 Vilnius (Lithuania) welcomed regular seminar for Ukrainian educators “Pearls of Yiddish Culture”. The event was organized by International Yiddish Center of World Jewish Congress in partnership with “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies.

The seminar program included interesting lectures on the history of Yiddish culture and Jewish culture destroyed by the Holocaust, conducted by experts from the United States, Israel, as well as several educational guided tours to the Jewish part of the city and Holocaust sights.
