On December 8-9, a group of schoolchildren from Kyiv (private educational institution "Bezmezh") visited “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies, Museum "Jewish Memory and Holocaust in Ukraine". This visit was the part of an educational project "Modern Dialogue in a Multicultural City" with the support of the Kulturna Stolytsia program, which will last until the end of 2021.

Students had a rich and interesting program:
- communication with the director of “Tkuma” Institute and Museum, Dr. Igor Shchupak, about the peculiarities of presenting the history of Ukraine in school textbooks;
- acquaintance with scientific, educational activities implemented by "Tkuma" Institute for a long time and possible involvement of students from Kyiv, as noted by the head of the educational department Iryna Piskariova;
- guided tour to the Holocaust Museum, conducted by the head of the scientific department Dr. Iryna Radchenko;
- visit to the most secret part of the Holocaust Museum - the funds to which the students were taken by the chief custodian of the Museum's funds Lyudmila Sandul.
At the end of the fruitful two-day program, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the expositions of the ATO Museum.
These visits show the importance of interregional cooperation, testify to the desire of young people to gain knowledge of the history of Ukraine, as well as to preserve the memory of the common tragic pages of the past.
