On May 3, the annual scientific and practical online conference “Zaporizhzhia Jewish readings-2023” was held, organized by “Tkuma” Institute and the Zaporizhzhia National University with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

“This conference is the 25th anniversary! Let's think: an annual, traditional conference has been taking place for 25 years, Dr. Shchupak emphasized. – Let us recall that the founder of this tradition was associate professor Semen Orlyanskyi, who, unfortunately, is no longer with us, with the support of professor Fedor Turchenko; these people are legends of the History Faculty of ZNU. We hope that the next Readings will take place after the Victory over the Rushists, in Zaporizhzhia, which is free from shelling.”
