On January 24, Valentyn Rybalka, “Tkuma” Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies researcher held an interactive lecture for officers of the “East” air command, dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Unification. The topic of educational lesson was “Battle of Kruty and the Ukrainian People's Republic (UNR) connection – West Ukrainian People's Republic (ZUNR) in the context of Ukrainian history of the early XX century”.

During the lesson, the discussion was not only about the history, but also about the memory of those events and it’s lessons, the importance of understanding it for the present.
