During November 3-6, 2016 Lviv hosted “Limmud” International Conference. For more than 30 years the annual conferences are held around the world gathering from few hundred to a thousand of participants. In 2008 Limmud was for the first time held in Ukraine.

Dr. Igor Shchupak, “Tkuma” Institute and the Holocaust Museum director, addressed the participants of conference with a lecture-presentation “Memory of the Holocaust and the Second World War and Quasi-Religion “Great Patriotic War”. In addition together with Prof. V. Hrynevych presentation of the book “Babyn Yar” released with the support of UJE to 75^th anniversary of Babyn Yar tragedy was conducted.
